British Gas Rewards
British Gas Rewards was launched in 2017, to say a big thank you to British Gas’ customers.
The programme gives customers exciting rewards and giveaways from British Gas and other brands that their customers love. Alongside bright ideas to help them enjoy life at home even more.
We are thrilled to be working with the British Gas Rewards Team to deliver and implement a range of strategic partnerships and rewards; all designed to delight and inspire British Gas’ customers. The partnerships and rewards from sectors we have identified as being key passion areas for British Gas’ customers and they are delivering very strong impacts on engagement and excellent redemptions for the partners.
In April 2019 we also developed and delivered the first augmented reality experience in a loyalty programme, working closely with Spark Lab and Centrica XR. We created an exceptional and brand new augmented reality experience for their members, accessed online (so there was no need for them to download a separate app). Members had the chance to win millions of prizes (including family holidays, smart technology devices and meals out) by helping Wilbur the Penguin (the lovable British Gas mascot) to locate Easter eggs – a family friendly activity.
And we are proud to have been recognised by the industry for our work with British Gas Rewards. So far we have won awards and been recognised by the Loyalty Awards for “Best New Loyalty Programme”, “Technology” and “Innovation”, by the IPM Awards in the “Automotive, Appliances & Utilities” and “Incentive, Loyalty, Reward or Motivation Programme” categories and in 2020 won and Best Customer & Employee Programme at the Engage Awards.
